We took our annual trip to Tennessee over the holiday weekend to spend time with family for Thanksgiving.  This included a trip to Cleveland, TN to visit the inlaws (food), a trip across Tennessee to Dyersburg where we have Thanksgiving dinner with my mother’s extended family of about 35 or 40 people (more food), and finally an early Christmas dinner and gifts for the kids with my immediate family (much more food).

The girls love this trip.  They get to eat good food, open presents, and see all of Nana’s Christmas decorations.  Here they are getting in the Christmas spirit.

This was an outpouring of the childhood giddyness that comes just befor opening presents.  Speaking of which here are few shots of the action.

Needless to say, we all had a great time.  The girls got a lot of great presents from Nana and Grandaddy and Amelia got to put on a fashion show with all the clothes she got from Aunt Amy.  The time seemed to by too fast, but then again it also seems like the Holidays come sooner every year.  Time keeps flying by whether we want it to or not, so I guess we should do our best to enjoy it.
